We have three warriors exploring the lands surrounding Berlin. To the east we have discovered a little village of huts.

The Magyars

We enter the village and the Magyars are so impressed with our civilization that they agree to join us and become Germans.

Leipzig

We instruct the Magyars to form a new German town along the juncture of the Pleisse, Parthe and Weisse Elster Rivers.  This new town shall be forever known as Leipzig.

The Lay of the Land

Our explorers have discovered much unsettled lands. We must expand to fill this land with good German towns. We have yet to find the Russian homeland, but they too will want these unclaimed lands. 

Early Expansion: Expansion is usually the most critical task of the early game. We must grab the best lands before our rivals do. We must also settle the lands closest to our capital, where corruption is lowest. Though the discovery of Leipzig is fortunate, it is too far from the capital to be very productive during the Ancient Age.
